Scalable Systems and Data

This module teaches an overview of the requirements and challenges when creating and managing large-scale distributed systems.

Some topics include: data centre technologies; design principles for scalable systems; NewSQL and NoSQL technologies; distributed storage, coordination, computation and resources; key-value stores and document databases.
